Please pray for this event. As I’ve shared before, the core team made a heartfelt commitment: to build a network where churches and leaders can come together in a vibrant, Spirit-led, and mutually supportive community. That vision is now moving from dream to reality and you have a unique opportunity to help shape it.

We are pulling together 50 ministers from the Evangelical Baptist network to join us in prayer and strategic planning  to shape what this network of Baptist Churches will do and look like. To help define our focus on mission and strategic steps going forward in order to be part of shaping the future we long to see emerge in the Baptist Union.

Amongst those who will be coming are church planters, teachers, academics and many other gifted ministers. This isn’t just an invitation,  it’s a call to help co-create the future of Immersed. Together, we’ll listen, discern, and agree on a way forward that provides a safe and life-giving space for evangelical Baptist churches to connect, grow, and partner in mission. Our vision is to serve our Baptist Family  and pray renewal in, but this will be done in a safe space with fellow evangelicals. But as has been said previously it will also serve as a lifeboat.

The gathering will be on Wednesday 1st and Thursday 2nd October at The Gate, Reading, and you are warmly invited. We are hopeful that by then our CIO will have been approved by the charity commission allowing us to implement our developed vision following the 1st ad 2nd October and move forwards together at pace.
